The Best Building Restoration West Sussex Has to Offer
Here at NJS Developments, we specialise in restoring buildings that are classified as listed or historically interesting. We boast an excellent track record in this regard, having handled countless projects and delivering results where our competitors have failed. Restoring historical buildings is rewarding work, as it grants a new lease of life to unwanted or unloved buildings, restoring their place within the community.
One such example of our restoration work comes in the form of Graylingwell Hospital in Chichester. We were charged with the regeneration of the site by Linden Homes back in 2010. The hospital was built in 1894 and sported a classical Queen Anne style with a slate roof and reconstituted stonework.
In 2009, the NHS vacated the site, and, following its years of use as a hospital and prolonged neglect, the buildings looked less than stellar. NJS Developments worked side-by-side with Linden Homes to painstakingly restore the buildings into modern apartment blocks. This involved scaffolding, brickwork, and roofing services, which we were equipped to provide.
Another excellent example of our capabilities came with the full restoration of the King Edward VII Hospital in Midhurst. Once again, this building, vacated by the NHS, was showing serious neglect. And once again, we worked tirelessly in close conjunction with City and Country to revive and restore these magnificent buildings, creating stunning apartments.
Whatever the job, regardless of scale and complexity, we deliver the finest service to our clients using skilled professionals with a passion for historical building restoration. From brickwork to roofing, we deliver the highest standards of workmanship and consideration on these projects.
