Community Projects

Investing in the local community is something NJS are passionate about. NJS realise that it’s important to re-invest in the local area building trust and friendship in the business community, the sports community and the local community that they exist in. As a major sponsor of Chichester Rugby Club, now a National League side, NJS were contracted to undertake the extension and refurbishment of the club house, jointly funded by the RFU and the senior sponsors. The work was completed on time and on budget and has transformed the club facilities which now includes a full gymnasium, full facilities to host weddings and functions and new improved player facilities to support the club through this exciting period of growth.

NJS also sponsors races at both Goodwood and Fontwell race courses and use their facilities to entertain their clients and help support these thriving local businesses.

On a community level over the last few years, NJS have sponsored United Services U12 football team from Portsmouth, Chichester Judo club and the boxing at the boys club.

The refurbishment of the Head Office in Quarry Lane transformed a tired old building into a two story high tech modern office with sustainable solar power. The facilities provide a superb working environment for the office team and have raised the surroundings in the industrial estate further helping the local area.

Christmas 2015 saw the introduction of the Lapland Competition fully sponsored by the NJS Group. The winner, Ellie Keeble, was nominated by her friends who with her family shared the chance of a lifetime trip to meet Father Christmas on a sleigh pulled by reindeers. An exceptional trip, an exceptional act of kindness by this community minded business.
